As if the original Sony PlayStation Portable and its Slim version isn’t enough, Sony comes up with another version of their game console worldwide hit.
Packed with more cool features than ever before is the PSP 3000. Promised to be much slicker than the PSP 1000 and PSP Slim & Lite, the PSP 3000 has been reported to look much like the PSP Slim & Lite but would have cool and new features like a built-in microphone that would enable users to use the Skype for PSP and use the voice feature while playing games online through the infrastructure.
Another cool tweak that Sony did with the PSP 3000 is the better screen and niftier screen features. With these new tweaks, the PSP 3000 can now be used more efficiently outdoors as the its screen has an anti-glare feature.
What’s more, the PSP 3000 can be used on non HDTV’s as it was enhanced so that it is capable of interlacing with TV sets that are not able to support progressive outputs.
As for its battery life, contrary to rumors, the PSP 3000 can last from four up to six hours on game playing and from four up to five hours for movie watching thus having a longer battery life as compared to the PSP 1000 and the PSP Slim & Lite.
This new version of the Sony PlayStation Portable will be available on the 15th of October 2008 and will be sold at standard retail price of $199.99 USD.
